It is inevitable that we all will hit certain age milestones during our lives and in four short months my big "40" Birthday will have come and gone. I could not resist making a bold statement with this adorable card. The Owls were created with the new "Two Step Owl Punch" (118074 - $16.95) and Tombow Adhesive. This punch cuts all the cardstock pieces to create an Owl with only one punch. For this card I used Real Red and So Saffron to create two Owls in coordinating colors. The background is embossed using the Big Shot and Textured Plates # 4 to create a woodgrain effect. The branches were punched with the "Two Step Bird Punch" (117191 - $16.95). The numbers were cut out of the new Play Date designer series paper. This DSP set contains two full 12 x 12 sheets with 1" square numbers, which will all you to create dozens of these cute cards for any birthdate. The "look who's turning" greeting is from the "On Your Birthday" stamp set.
