Spring/Summer 2009 Idea Book and Catalog Pre-order

If anyone wishes to pre-purchase the Spring/Summer 2009 Idea Book and Catalog please provide me with your order and pre-payment by Friday, January 9th. The cost for the pre-ordered catalog is $10.00, which includes a $5.00 off your first purchase coupon and other monthly coupons. The pre-ordered catalog will be distributed to you during the week of January 19th.

With the introduction of this new Spring/Summer 2009 Idea Book and Catalog I will also be starting a Hostess Club. This club is limited to six participants and based upon the number of responses I could have several clubs going during this catalog period. Create-a-Calendar

It is hard to believe that in less than 2 months it will be "2009"! Stampin' Up! is currently selling a wonderful Create-a-Calendar 2009 kit that is the perfect holiday gift to make for a friend or a loved one. I will be offering a special class on Monday, December 1st, where we will be making this calendar. We will also be decorating a glass ornament with Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Rub-Ons and decorating a box to wrap this ornament. Contact me if you are interested in attending this class.

Big Shot Projects

These adorable cards were created using the new Stampin' Up! Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting machine and the exclusive "Top Note" Bigz Die. The Big Shot is a great tool for any Stamper or Scrapbooker. Thanksgiving Card

This adorable Turkey was created using Stampin' Up!'s exclusive punches. The cardstock color combination that I used for this card is More Mustard, Really Rust, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Basic Black. The punches that were used to create this card were the Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, Double Circle Punch and the 1" Square Punch.

Christmas Cards from my September Stamp Camp

When I first saw the Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper in the new Fall/Winter 2008 Idea Book and Catalog I immediately envisioned how beautiful this paper would look with the Bloomin' Beautiful Stamp Set. Well this is the first of the cards that I have made using this combination and it came out beautiful.

Stamp sets used: Bloomin' Beautiful and Holidays & Wishes. Ink: Jet Black StazOn Pad and Ruby Red Classic Stampin' Pad, and Pink Pirouette, Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive and Baja Breeze Classic Ink Refills. Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Old Olive and Whisper White Cardstock and Holiday Treasures DSP. Ticket Corner Punch, Blender Pens, Old Olive 5/8' Grosgrain Ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp sets used: Season of Joy. Ink: Old Olive and Ruby Red Classic Stampin' Pads and Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red Stampin' Write Markes. Eastern Blooms

This is the last of four cards that we made at today's Sweet Always Altered Card Tin stamp camp. The stamp sets that this card features are "Eastern Blooms" and "On Your Birthday". The new Stampin' Up! accessory that this card features is the 1" wide Double Stitched Chocolate Chip Ribbon.

This is the second of four cards that we made at today's Sweet Always Altered Card Tin stamp camp. The stamp sets that this card features are "Flight of the Butterfly" and "Heard From the Heart". Some of the new Stampin' Up! accessories featured with this card are the Scallop Edge Punch, Floral Frenzy Classy Brass Template and On Board Something Seasonal Chipboard.

Welcome to my stamping blog

Hello Everyone,

I have finally started a blog dedicated to stamping, scrapbooking and other wonderful paper crafting projects created with the beautiful stamp sets and accessories that are offered exclusively through Stampin' Up!. I thought that with the release of the new Fall-Winter 2008 Idea Book & Catalog by Stampin' Up! it would be the best time to start sharing additional creativity with all of you. I will try to makes updates to this blog as frequently as possible.

I attended my first Stampin' Up! Convention at the beginning of August and I learned many fabulous new techniques and project ideas to share. One of the new products that Stampin' Up! will be offering is an exclusive Sizzix Bigz Shot Die Cut Machine. With the launch of this die cut machine and exclusive Stampin' Up! dies, you can take you paper crafting hobby to a new level. This machine not only works with cardstock and designer series papers, but also with chipboard, felt, fabric, metals and I can keep going on and on. Keep checking this blog to see what I will be creating.

Another great new feature that Stampin' Up! is offering is die cut stamp sets. All of the new stamps introduced in the Fall-Winter 2008 Idea Book and Catalog are die cut. Look for the die cut symbol next to the item number and price of each stamp set. This will reduce the time it takes to assemble your new stamps.

The new 2008-2009 In-Colors are beautiful. The colors are: Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Blue, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. I will be posting cards created with these new in-colors over the next few days, so keep checking this blog.
